Maintenance & Warranty

Maintenance is key to protecting your investment. While our septic systems are built for ease of maintenance, they still have a number of moving parts that need regular care. Should you encounter any issues, we back our work with a maintenance plan and installer warranty.

Commercial Maintenance & Warranty

Owner’s Manual: After we complete a project, you’ll receive a printed and digital copy of your owner’s manual. Your owner’s manual details the components of your system such as its tanks, treatment plants, pumps, control panels and field. All piping, trenches and tank elevations are documented by GPS and drafted to an as-built drawing. This shows you the location and depth of anything, should you encounter a problem. All owner’s manuals for the different independent components will also be collected and passed on. A list of suggested replacement parts will also be recommended for future maintenance providers.

Maintenance Plan: Alaqua offers a two-year maintenance plan on all projects. We take care of cleaning filters, testing treatment plant effluent, monitoring water flows, and adjusting pump run times. We also monitor sludge accumulation and set up an ongoing pump-out schedule. Information will be documented in the maintenance section of your owner’s manual. Following Alaqua’s two-year maintenance period, a certified septic system maintenance provider is required.

Warranty: Our septic systems come with a two-year installer warranty. The warranty period starts the date the final inspection has been completed by a safety codes officer. This warranty covers any moving parts or complications proven to be at fault of the installer or manufacturer. Alaqua is dedicated to the integrity and quality of the system. Even after the warranty period is over, we hope you’ll reach out to us with any questions or concerns.

Residential Maintenance & Warranty

Owner’s Manual: After we complete the install, you’ll receive an owner’s manual that shows the components of the system and the location of buried pipes. Each component in your system will have tailored monitoring and maintenance requirements, including your septic tank, pumps and alarm
floats. Septic field pipes can be accessed and checked for clogging, freezing or pressure loss and monitoring ports are placed throughout the field to view saturation under the surface. Keeping an eye on all these components lets you catch a problem before it gets worse or causes a failure.

Maintenance Plan: We offer our residential customers a two-year maintenance for advance treatment systems and a one-year plan for traditional tank and field systems. We’ll also provide you with a pumping schedule to remove the accumulated sludge. After the maintenance period is over, a
certified septic system maintenance provider is required.

Warranty: Our septic systems come with a two-year installer warranty. The warranty period starts the date the final inspection has completed by a safety codes officer. This warranty covers any moving parts or complications proven to be at fault of the installer or manufacturer. Alaqua is dedicated to the integrity and quality of the system. Even after the warranty period is over, we hope you’ll reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
