Our Process
1. Call Before You Dig
We begin by calling Alberta One Call to have them come out and mark off the property for gas lines, water lines and communications cables.
2. Conduct a Soil and Property Assessment
Working with a certified septic system designer, we do an assessment of your property to determine the best type of septic system for your property conditions. This involves looking at soil conditions, size of usable land and number of bedrooms/bathrooms on the property (also called flow rate).
The designer will then dig two test pits approximately five feet deep to see the soil type and take samples for lab analysis.
As the installer, we bring an additional layer of expertise by recommending sampling locations and ideal placements for the installation. We look at things like property line boundaries, cost effectiveness, accessibility for installation materials and environmental regulations.

3. Develop a Design
Your septic system designer will next develop a design that details the size of the septic tank and field. You’ll receive an in-depth report, which is required to apply for an installation permit.
4. Install the System
Using the report, we’ll put together a detailed quote for you. We’ll apply for the permits by taking your report to the county office and, upon approval of the permit, we’ll work with you to set dates and details to get started. Generally, projects take one week with approximately 24 hours of water supply interruption.
5. Monitor and Maintain the System
Once the system is installed, we monitor and maintain it for the first year at no extra charge. Your installation also includes a one-year warranty. This involves a follow-up visit where we check the floats to ensure activation, clean the filters that are in the system, and check the monitoring ports to ensure the soil is properly accepting the effluent in the field.
